magicJack for BUSINESS™ allows you to make local and long-distance calls across the U.S. (including Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands) and Canada. Calls to 900 numbers, phone chat services, traffic pumping services, and some U.S. territories are excluded. Limited in some areas such as Alaska. See our Terms of Service for additional limitations.

You only need to download the app, login, then you and your team will be ready to start communicating within minutes of picking your phone numbers! No, unlike other products, magicJack for BUSINESS does not connect to your computer. This saves you from the hassle of installing software on your computer and from having to leave your computer turned on to make and receive calls.

Getting Started – Porting Your Number
To start the porting process, we will need you to provide the phone number you want to port and account information for your current provider (name of provider, account number, passcode, authorized account holder, and address). It is very important that you DO NOT CANCEL your existing account until the phone number is successfully ported to magicJack for BUSINESS.
The porting process will typically take 10-15 business days assuming all provided information is correct. Some providers take longer than others to complete but rest assured that we will be on top of your request. While the phone number porting process is underway, we will provide you a temporary phone number on the magicJack for BUSINESS system. You can forward your current number to that temporary number to start using our services immediately, even before the number port is complete.
Upon port completion, we will notify you via email. At that point, you can cancel your account with your previous provider.
Porting requirements vary by carrier. Number porting is supported in most calling areas. Please contact us at 1-888-652-4976 to determine whether your number is portable.
Phone number porting is an option that allows you to transfer your existing phone number from your old phone company to magicJack for BUSINESS.
When you sign up for magicJack for BUSINESS, you have the option of porting or transferring your existing number, or we will give you a new number in any available U.S. area code (excluding Alaska). If you already have an established business with a phone number, you can save yourself the time and hassle of having to update all your customers with a new number by porting it to magicJack for BUSINESS.
Existing magicJack Residential customers: we can transfer your magicJack Residential number to magicJack for BUSINESS.
If you have a phone number with another carrier, in most cases we can port your number, which can take up to several days to complete, depending on your carrier. Porting service is free of charge for business customers.
Caller ID display depends on the carrier of the person you’re calling. magicJack for BUSINESS sets up your caller ID with your name or business name exactly how you want it, but some carriers don’t display the information that is available. Caller ID name can not be any longer than 15 characters (including spaces). Yes, magicJack for BUSINESS provides E911 service. We collect your address when you purchase your magicJack service and send it to emergency response personnel when you dial E911 from your magicJack for BUSINESS Yealink phone. In order to get credentials for your line, you will need to speak with the Administrator/Owner of your account who will be able to set up your account for you using the Web Portal / Setup.
You may have noticed that your mobile application looks different and is now called magicJack for BUSINESS. If you are a magicJack Spark subscriber please note that your log-in credentials will still work with this application update. As a magicJack Spark customer you still have access to all of the great features you signed up for at the same great price. You can continue to utilize your second phone number on your mobile device with unlimited calls and SMS texts.
